Purbani Botley Limited is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team at our flagship restaurant in the heart of the beautiful village of Botley, Hampshire.

The Role:

As a Chef at Purbani Botley, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards and culinary excellence our guests have come to expect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requests or purchases food supplies and inspects deliveries to ensure quality and compliance with standards
• Plans menus and prepares, seasons, and cooks food, or oversees preparation while ensuring high-quality results
• Supervises, organizes, and instructs kitchen staff, managing the entire kitchen or specific sections effectively
• Ensures adherence to hygiene regulations and health and safety standards within the kitchen environment
• Plans and coordinates kitchen operations, including the retrieval, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment and utensils

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen, ideally with Indian cuisine.
• Strong leadership, time-management, and organizational skills.
• In-depth understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
• A team player with a passion for authentic, high-quality cooking.

Summary of job description:

Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to the restaurant. Manage and grow the restaurant’s social media presence across social media platforms. Create engaging content, including posts, stories, and videos, to showcase our cuisine and events. Respond to customer inquiries and feedback on social media in a timely and professional manner. Develop compelling and visually appealing marketing materials, such as flyers, brochures, and advertisements. Coordinate with local media and influencers to promote special events. Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, trends, and competition. Work closely with the Head Chef and restaurant management team to align marketing strategies with business goals.
